NCMIC Foundation

In 2003, the NCMIC Foundation was formed to ensure continued research and education that will benefit the chiropractic profession. The Foundation fosters growth and advancement of the profession through investment and collaboration.

ResearchOngoing research is necessary to demonstrate the effectiveness, safety and cost efficiency of chiropractic and alternative healthcare. In today’s challenging healthcare environment, it is essential that we support and encourage research to ensure the long-term viability of our profession.
EducationIn addition to research, another important goal of the NCMIC Foundation is to invest in the training of DCs as they obtain advanced degrees in areas including pediatrics, neurosciences, health policy, biomechanics, rehabilitation and more.
McAndrews Research AwardThe Jerome F. McAndrews, DC, Memorial Research Fund was created by the NCMIC Foundation to honor Dr. McAndrews’ longtime support of the scientific and practical advancement of the study of chiropractic.
Published ArticlesThe NCMIC Foundation works to ensure that research and results from funded projects are published in peer-reviewed journals and other publications.
