NCMIC Announces First 50 Bucks for Boards Scholarship Recipients

NCMIC announced the first 50 winners of their Bucks for Boards scholarships.

Each recipient was awarded $500 to help defray the cost of NBCE chiropractic board exams. Winners include:

“NCMIC is proud to be able to support our students. We know the costs of taking the exams can be expensive and we’re happy the Bucks for Boards program was so well received,” said Dr. Wayne Wolfson, President of NCMIC. “We had over 1,600 entrants during the first quarter entry period, and hope students continue to take advantage of the program.”

NCMIC, in conjunction with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, launched the Bucks for Boards program in January. A total of 200 scholarships totaling $100,000 each in the amount of $500 each, will be given by NCMIC in 2020.

Four times during the year, 50 students will be awarded Bucks for Boards scholarships. The names of the winners will be randomly drawn from those who enter each entry period. Students may sign up once per entry period, and are eligible to win one NCMIC Bucks for Boards scholarship in annually. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone.

These scholarships are just one of many ways NCMIC reaches out to students. The NCMIC Starting Into Practice® Program has held on-campus presentations for over 20 years to help prepare students for the transition from school into practice. A new website, www.startingintopractice.com, and supporting Facebook group were recently launched to give students access to in-depth information about business, marketing, practice structures, finances and more.
