NCMIC Earns Best Of and Top Workplace Honors for 2026

NCMIC continues to be recognized for its commitment to its employees and communities, earning honors in the Des Moines Business Record’s Best Of poll and a spot on the Des Moines Register’s Top Workplaces list.
Des Moines Business Record’s Best Of
The Des Moines Business Record’s annual Best Of poll is voted on by members of the Des Moines business community. In 2026, NCMIC earned recognition in two categories:
- Best Business Supporting Local Charity
- Best Company to Work For, Runner-Up
NCMIC has been recognized in the Best Of poll numerous times, with these honors reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and creating a workplace where employees can thrive.

Des Moines Register’s Top Workplace
NCMIC also earned a spot on the Des Moines Register’s Top Workplaces list for 2026, marking nine consecutive years that it has been recognized among Iowa’s top workplaces.
Top Workplace recognition is based on employee feedback gathered through a nationwide employee engagement survey conducted by Energage. Employees evaluate their workplace across a range of factors that contribute to a strong organizational culture.
