Getting a business credit card can be beneficial for you and your practice. But how do you qualify for one and what are the credit card requirements?

There are many reasons to consider opening a business credit card, including cardholder benefits and valuable rewards. In most cases, prequalifying for business credit cards isn’t as challenging or time-consuming as you might think.
Business Credit Card Requirements
Must Be a Chiropractor or Business Owner
To get a small business credit card, you have to be a business owner or professional. You don’t have to own your own practice in order to qualify for one – you simply have to be a practicing chiropractor who incurs business expenses. Independent contractors are also eligible for our business credit card.
Credit Score
Your personal credit score is taken into consideration when you are applying for a business credit card. This makes your application process much easier – you don’t have to supply business tax documentation. And at NCMIC, we consider more than just credit score, so don’t hesitate to apply even if you’re unsure about your credit score.
Age
Business credit cardholders must be 18 years or older.
Research Benefits
Before you apply for a small business card, consider which factors are most important to you as a DC. Is a low interest rate essential? Do you want to be able to earn great rewards? Is an annual fee make-or-break for you? Once you know what you do (and don’t) want, you’ll be better prepared to research business credit cards.
