Showing Your Appreciation Is More Important Than Ever

Thank you. Now more than ever, these two little words can make a world of difference in marketing your practice.

These are unusual times, and bringing your patients back to your care after Coronavirus containment measures is likely at the top of your mind.

While the challenge may seem daunting, don't underestimate the simple power of showing your appreciation. Here are some easy ways to show your patients you care and encourage them to come back to treatment as soon as possible.

Tell Them You Miss Them

Consider this a chance to reconnect with patients. Not only can you tell them how much you appreciate their business, but you can also share important information, such as new hours or any welcome back specials or product offerings.

While a patient may remember that he or she felt better the after the last treatment, sometimes an extra nudge is needed. It encourages the patient to pick up the phone and make the appointment. And, if that extra nudge expresses how much you appreciate your patients, all the better.

Dropping the patient a line that it has been awhile and you are concerned about their continued well-being is important in maintaining a long-term relationship.

Follow Up

After the first return visit, write each patient a handwritten note thanking them for choosing you to assist in their wellness goals. This also gives you an opportunity to provide follow-up instructions, encourage them to connect with your practice's social media sites and send them reminders about future appointments.

Make sure your note cards or stationary include information such as address, phone number, email and website address.

Thank Patients for Referrals

Patients pay you no higher compliment than when they refer a friend to your practice. Make sure to acknowledge that and to send the referring patient a note to thank them.

The Time Is Now

As a DC, you know the importance of chiropractic care to the health of your patients, but in these uncertain times, they may need a little reminder. Don't wait to let your patients know their importance to you and the success of your practice.
