Q: Can I start with one type of policy and switch to another?

A: Yes. There are several things to keep in mind, depending on if you switching between claims-made and occurrence policies or if you're switching from a claims-policy from another carrier to a NCMIC policy. 

Q: Are my chiropractic assistants and massage therapists covered by my malpractice policy? 

A: As long they are employees and under the supervision of a licensed chiropractor, NCMIC’s Malpractice Insurance Plan provides coverage. 

Q: What is professional entity coverage and why do I need it?

A: Some D.Cs. may think by creating a professional entity, their practice is protected in the case of a malpractice allegation. This isn’t necessarily true.
