William Moreau, DC, DACBSP, FACSM

Dr. William Moreau is a board-certified chiropractic sports medicine physician with over four decades of clinical mastery in evidence-guided care. He is internationally recognized for advancing the integration of chiropractic care into high-performance sports medicine systems and for elevating standards in multidisciplinary athlete healthcare.

In 2009, Dr. Moreau transitioned from a successful private practice to become the founding Director of Clinics for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), where he led transformative medical initiatives for over a decade. His leadership was pivotal in shaping the delivery of care to America’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes. In 2017, he was named Vice President of Sports Medicine for the USOC, overseeing all aspects of sports medicine operations, including care delivery at the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the management of the USOC’s network of medical clinics.

Dr. Moreau made history as the first and only Doctor of Chiropractic to serve as Chief Medical Officer for Team USA at both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, directing integrated medical teams at the London 2012, Sochi 2014, Rio 2016, and PyeongChang 2018 Games. Under his leadership, Team USA implemented some of the most advanced, athlete-centered medical systems in Olympic history.

A founder of the U.S. Coalition for the Prevention of Illness and Injury in Sport a recognized International Olympic Committee one of only eleven IOC Research Centers for Injury Prevention. Dr. Moreau has also served on the international Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) Medical Commission, where he contributed to shaping health policy for athletes across the Americas.

Dr. Moreau is a dedicated educator and thought leader, having delivered more than 400 invited presentations on sports medicine, concussion, dysautonomia, and integrated care models across five continents. His expertise has been featured in TIME, USA Today, ESPN, Bloomberg Businessweek, NPR, and NBC.

Today, Dr. Moreau continues to shape the future of concussion and autonomic care as the founder and CEO of NeuroSport Spine and Concussion Center in Vancouver, Washington, where he leads a multidisciplinary team serving patients with complex neurologic, autonomic, and musculoskeletal conditions.

An avid outdoorsman and conservationist, Dr. Moreau resides in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Karen, and remains deeply committed to advancing patient care, research, and professional education in chiropractic and sports medicine.
