Dr. Neema Moore is a chiropractor, formally trained educator, business and practice owner, award-winning speaker, author, and healthcare leader with more than 23 years of experience in clinical practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology Secondary Education and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, a distinctive combination that allows her to bring both a clinician’s experience and an educator’s perspective to chiropractic practice, leadership, patient communication, team development, and practice culture.
As a trained educator and longtime practice owner, Dr. Moore understands that providing information is not the same as teaching and telling an employee what to do is not the same as effectively training them. She applies principles of education and adult learning alongside real-world business and clinical experience to help chiropractors develop stronger teams, establish clear expectations, improve communication, and create systems that support consistency, accountability, patient safety, and risk reduction. Her philosophy is simple: telling is not training, and leadership begins with the doctor.
Dr. Moore’s approach focuses on the human side of risk management how leadership, training, communication, culture, and doctor wellbeing influence the patient experience and can contribute to, or help prevent, avoidable practice risk. She believes protecting a practice begins long before a problem occurs, with doctors intentionally creating the systems, expectations, communication standards, and culture that support safe, consistent patient care.
She is particularly passionate about the connection between leadership, staff training, and communication. Dr. Moore teaches doctors to examine not only how they communicate with patients, but also how information moves between the doctor, team, and patient—and how assumptions, inconsistent messaging, unclear expectations, inadequate training, and ineffective systems can create vulnerabilities within a practice.
Her speaking topics also explore practice culture, professional confidence, the evolving chiropractic practice, patient experience, women’s health and wellness, doctor wellbeing, burnout, and the impact that stress, scheduling, workload, and decision fatigue can have on patient care and professional performance.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Moore serves as Vice President of Women Doctors of Chiropractic and is committed to advancing leadership, education, and professional development within the chiropractic profession. Her commitment to service and advancing chiropractic care extends globally, including serving as the first woman chiropractor to provide chiropractic care in The Gambia, West Africa. She is also the Amazon bestselling author of Confidence NOW and an award-winning speaker known for making complex concepts practical, relatable, and immediately applicable.
Known for an interactive and highly practical teaching style, Dr. Moore incorporates real-world scenarios, case discussions, role-playing, teach-back, and actionable strategies designed to move audiences beyond simply hearing information to understanding how to apply it in practice.
Drawing from her extensive experience as a clinician, educator, business owner, and healthcare leader, Dr. Moore equips doctors to become stronger leaders, better communicators, more effective educators, and more intentional healthcare professionals while building stronger teams, healthier practice cultures, and safer, more consistent patient experiences.
