Webinar: Serving a Medicare Population: Preparing for Full Scope

Serving a Medicare Population: Preparing for Full Scope

14% of chiropractic patients are 65 or older. DCs are now fighting for payment for full scope under Medicare. What if we acquired that tomorrow? Do we realize the complexity of evaluation and treatment of the whole person of advanced age or disability, including co-morbidities, polypharmacy, quality of life education, advance directives, and accessibility issues?

In this hour-long session, we’ll talk about…

  • Potential weaknesses in our present education, scope and personal practice focus relative to older patients
  • How we as Chiropractic Physicians might become more pro-active in anticipation of expanded Medicare coverage
  • Resources for increasing involvement with an aging population
