Keith Henaman Promoted to Senior Vice President of Claims at NCMIC

NCMIC is pleased to announce the promotion of Keith Henaman to senior vice president of claims.

In his new role, Keith will oversee the day-to-day operations of NCMIC’s claims team as they manage professional liability claims for chiropractors, medical doctors, naturopaths and dentists. He will also be more involved in corporate strategic planning.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Keith for many years and have seen firsthand how important of a role he has played in the success of our organization,” said David Seibert, president, NCMIC Insurance Company. “Our claims team provides world class service and provides NCMIC with a true differentiation in the market. Keith cares deeply about his claims team, the organization and our policyholders and is the embodiment of our motto — We Take Care of Our Own.”

Keith previously served as the vice president of claims where he managed a staff of 13 and assisted with reserve setting and strategy around obtaining the best result on challenging claims. He has also been involved in corporate strategic planning and implementation of other projects. He’s been with NCMIC since 1994.

As for why he still chooses NCMIC, Keith said, “The company is larger now than when I started but they still take great care of their employees with great benefits, monthly company gatherings and by becoming more involved in the community in many different ways.”

Outside of the office, Keith has volunteered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societies Team in Training (TNT) —the fundraising branch raising money for research — and is also a TNT coach helping others get across the finish line. He competes in endurance events and has completed two full marathons, two 100-mile bike rides, two Olympic distance triathlons and two half marathons for TNT and raised over $60,000 for blood cancer research.

He admits to being a “long suffering” Minnesota Vikings fan and loves being outdoors in the mountains of Colorado, where he enjoys running and biking. He’s been married to his wife, Michelle, for 31 years and they have two adult sons—Zack, who is married to Kelsey and Josh, who will marry Bri in October 2022. He also enjoys playing with his “grand dogs,” Ms. Lou and Mr. Blue.
