Patrick McNerney

Patrick McNerney retired in 2017 as chief executive officer of NCMIC Group, Inc., the holding-company parent of the NCMIC companies, serving the company from 1996–2017. Upon retirement, he joined the NCMIC Group, Inc. board of directors. Mr. McNerney received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Dakota. He is an honors graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and, in 2018, received an Honorary Doctorate of Chiropractic Humanities degree from Palmer University in Davenport, Iowa. Prior to NCMIC, he held numerous positions in the banking profession, including president of Boatmen’s Bank of Des Moines.
