Starting Into Practice Student Ambassador Program

Ambassador Program

What is the NCMIC Starting Into Practice® Student Ambassador Program?

The NCMIC Starting Into Practice Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for chiropractic students. NCMIC ambassadors promote the NCMIC Starting Into Practice program on their schools' campuses to new and existing students through social media, special events and other opportunities.

There are two ambassador positions for each school: a Senior Ambassador and Junior Ambassador. The Senior Ambassador should be in their final year and the Junior Ambassador should not be in their first or final year. Both will be expected to participate in digital and on-campus activities. Senior Ambassadors will attend two destination events.

Application Process

A Senior Ambassador and Junior Ambassador from each chiropractic college will be selected to serve 12-month terms. The Senior Ambassador should be in their final year and the Junior Ambassador should not be in their first or final year. Junior Ambassadors must complete the application process after each year if they wish to be considered for the Senior Ambassador position.

All completed applications will be reviewed by the NCMIC Student Ambassador Selection Committee (Committee).

  1. Applicants will be scored using a points system based on the quality of content provided.
  2. After reviewing the application, the Committee will select applicants for phone interviews.
  3. Upon completion of phone interviews and reference checks, the selections will be announced.

NCMIC reserves the right to change application deadlines based on the number of applicants per college. We are no longer accepting applications from the following schools:

  • Cleveland University (Kansas City)
