A new practitioner shares her personal advice and tips after making the transition from an associate to a new practice owner.

A Doctor's Story - Taking the Leap to Purchase a Practice

A new practitioner who attended at the SACA Leadership Conference in Des Moines sent us an email thanking NCMIC for supporting this important student event over the years. She felt the event was transformative, and she was appreciative that we were a huge part of that.

She also sent us a link to a brief article she wrote about making the transition from a chiropractic associate to new business owner. I found her article to be spot-on for the legal aspects of practicing a new practitioner would face.

She also shared her personal advice and tips as she made this transition. As there is no better way to learn than from the experiences of others, here is her story. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.

For more information, see the articles about choosing the practice mode that's right for you.
