MilesAway cardholders earn 1 reward point per $1 spent for qualifying net purchases (purchases minus returns/credits). Under this promotional offer, you will earn 2 additional bonus reward points per $1 spent on qualifying travel purchases for the first $7,000 per year. You will earn 1 additional bonus reward point per $1 spent on qualifying gas station, utilities and insurance purchases. Merchants who accept credit cards are assigned a merchant category code, which NCMIC does not assign or control. NCMIC uses these merchant category codes to determine if a purchase is within one of the additional bonus reward categories. However, even though a merchant may appear to fit within a bonus rewards category, the merchant may not have a merchant code in that category. This means that sometimes a purchase may not earn additional rewards. NFL5284
