Guaranteed Acceptance for D.C.s Under Age 50

Great News! The D.C. Long Term Disability Insurance Plan, issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America, is being offered on a GUARANTEED ACCEPTANCE basis for a limited time. This means there are no health questions or health exam! (There is a pre-existing condition limitation.)

Who is eligible

You are eligible for this offer as long as: You are under age 50, work at least 30 hours a week, have not been declined for this plan by Prudential, reside in the U.S., and are a member of the National Business Association for Chiropractors (NBAC). (If you're not a member yet, you can sign up at the same time you enroll in coverage.)

Available coverage amounts

Monthly benefit amounts from $500 to $3,000 are available during the special Guaranteed Acceptance offer. (If you would like more than $3,000 in coverage, please call an NCMIC Client Representative at 1-800-769-2000, ext. 8271.)

Affordable group premiums

The D.C. Long Term Disability Insurance Plan is a group plan sponsored by the National Business Association for Chiropractors (NBAC). This means you can take advantage of affordable group premiums. There are two ways to view the premiums:

The D.C. Long Term Disability Insurance Plan is currently not available in Alaska.

When your coverage will start

Your D.C. Long Term Disability Insurance Plan will become effective on the first day of the month after you have been approved and have paid the first premium, as long as you are working at least 30 hours a week. (If you are not working at least 30 hours a week, coverage will start the first of the month after you return to working at least 30 hours a week.)
